Heidi Thompson (NXDLZ)

Hi, I’m Heidi (also known as NXDLZ). I am a Rigging Artist with additional experience in Animation, Pipeline, and Production Workflows.

I use Toon Boom Harmony, TVPaint, Clip Studio Paint, and the Adobe Creative Suite.

My interest in Animation is influenced by both western adult animation such as Rick and Morty and BoJack Horseman, as well as Anime and Donghua (动画). One of my key inspirations is Scissor Seven, particularly its style of comedy.

For my final group project, Armed, I worked as Art Director and Animator, contributing to both the Visual Direction and Animation Production.

I'm aiming for a technical role in the industry, since I like efficient workflows and problem solving. Rigging characters with a nice UI and writing scripts is where I excel.
