As someone who grew up on Lord of the Rings and Star Wars, it’s difficult not to fall in love with visual effects, especially when you learn that there’s a person that puts it all together. So of course I would get ensnared by compositing. Having the power to transport someone from a greenscreen to a dystopian cityscape, or to add cg to turn a peaceful park into a fantastical nightmare, is why I would love the chance to become a junior compositor and continue to bring fantasy into reality.
